Logic Technology: TrueSTUDIO 7.0.0 released
Atollic TrueSTUDIO v.7.0.0 for Windows has been released, a new Alpha version for Linux is also available. Atollic TrueSTUDIO version 7.0.0 is a major release where several platform components have been updated. The main focus of TrueSTUDIO version 7.0.0 is to provide a unified platform for Windows and Linux host operating systems. With this platform changes comes a lot of new features. Another improvement is shorter IDE startup times.
The new project wizard features: search filter enabled on TrueSTORE to simplify browsing of example projects, TrueSTORE example projects ported to work on TrueSTUDIO Linux version, CMSIS-Pack Eclipse Plug-in updated to version 2.0.1 (from v1.1), new Target Selector widget displays vendor, boards and MCUs as a tree view is used by Project Wizard, Target Settings, etc.
New editor features include: zoom in text editors, SWT automatically scales images on high-DPI monitors, dark theme improved, workspace name shown in window title bar by default, full screen feature via shortcut or use menu.The file properties resource page contains a "Show in System Explorer" button which opens the explorer at the file location.
New debug features are the Disassembly view show CPU register values on mouse hover, local variables displayed using the "Memory Browser" view, enhanced SFRs view and many more.
