Logic Technology: professional GUI framework supporting NXP i.MX RT series

Draupner Graphics announced the release of the new TouchGFX support for the NXP i.MX RT series. The TouchGFX Framework v4.8.0 now includes a WYSIWYG graphical designer for embedded user interfaces. A breakthrough technology that allows a graphically designed UI to download straight to embedded MCU target boards. TouchGFX thereby gives users the power to create a UI prototype quickly and debug in real-time using the NXP i.MX RT1050 evaluation kit.

NXP’s i.MX RT Series is the industry’s first crossover processor based on Arm Cortex-M7. This gives users a high performance at 600MHz and the functional capabilities of an application processor, with the ease-of-use and real-time deterministic operation of traditional microcontrollers. The i.MX RT1050 offers high levels of integration and a rich user experience with a 2D graphics acceleration engine, LCD display, and camera interface.

TouchGFX gives users unbeatable UI performance on MCUs and end graphics that fully live up to today’s smartphone standards with a low cost per unit and a long battery life. By staying at the forefront of innovation and technological development, TouchGFX offers clients the best possible solution for their UI development projects.
