acceed: fanless IPC with space for 4 PCI/PCIe cards
With up to four slots for PCI or PCIe cards, the new industry PC series MVP-60xx is a high-performance and cost-efficient solution for all areas of industrial manufacturing, machine vision and automation. The plug-in cards (1 x PCIe x16 and 3 x PCI or 2 x PCIe x16 and 2 x PCI) in the compact casing, which are accessible from the front, enable application-specific extensions of the function, for example for drive controls, visual quality control or further specific tasks.
The individual MVP-6011 to MVP-6025 series models are equipped with various 6th generation Intel core processors in order to provide the optimum performance for the planned applications. Likewise, the arrangement of the slots for various PCI and PCIe plug-in cards is variable.
With the exception of the four slots, all the other integrated interfaces are accessible from the front side. Therefore, the compact controller with the dimensions 220 x 210 x 209 mm is ideal for installation in switch boxes or machine frames. The resilient construction of the fanless casing is designed for use in harsh industrial environments. Depending on the model, an ambient temperature of up to 50°C is permissible.
Integrated SODIMM sockets for dual channel DDR4 can accommodate up to 32 gigabytes’ memory. The HD graphics 530 from Intel supports two independent displays with an VGA, a DVI and two display ports. In addition to two RS-232/422/485 connectors and two RS-232 connectors, three gigabit Ethernet interfaces with a teaming function, six USB sockets (of which four USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0) as well as respectively eight DI and DO channels are provided for data communication.
With a base smaller than a sheet of DIN A4 paper, balanced output variants and highly variable extension options, the MVP-60xx series controllers offer an optimum and good value solution for a large number of industrial applications. The concept of the fanless casings not only ensures a reduction of the components and control elements, but also significantly increases failure safety. The robustness and reliability of the IPCs from Adlink, also under demanding operating conditions, has been put to the test for many years and secured by the manufacturer himself via strict testing in his own test laboratory.
