SINTRONES introduces new in-vehicle computer for railway applications

SINTRONES announced the new RBOX-1000, specifically designed for use on railway, tram and road transportation sectors. RBOX-1000 can support rolling stock application, public transport surveillance and facial identification on rail with optimized performance, innovative features and design.

New RBOX-1000 designed with Intel Gen6 Core i7-6600U CPU, isolated 110VDC input 6 x GbE with optional PoE In-Vehicle Computer and EN50155 Railway Applications. It is aiming to provide high computing performance for railway applications offer all current PC functions and up-to-date technology, as well as robustness, safety and long-term availability. The new RBOX-1000 was engineered using dual hot swappable SATA storage RAID 0,1,5 and EN50155 Tx temperature and class S2 interruption.

More technical features including: 2 x SO-DIMM DDR4 up to 32GB memory, 6 x Intel I210AT LAN chipset, and watchdog timer support, offer 1 – 255 steps. A well designed I/O system provides 2 x USB 2.0 Parts, 6 x 10/100/1000 Mb/s with M12 X-code LAN port (optional PoE total 100W max.), HDMI video port, 2 x SIM card sockets supported onboard with eject and 2 x mini-card slots expansion bus.

The RBOX-1000 is approved for a temperature range of -40 ~ 85°C for storage and 40 ~ 70°C EN50155 Tx for operations. This makes the railway computer perfectly suited for rolling stock application. It resists strong vibrations and shock (EN50155, EN61373) with certifications EN50155, EN50121-1, EN50121-3-2.

Continuously, RBOX-1000 has compact design on size 482 x 300 x44mm, weight 2500g, and 1U 19” rock mount with wireless router to fit-in and connect with current digital management system on railway and tram, like train public transport surveillance and facial identification.
