Logic Technology: Insyde now supports AWS CloudHSM

Insyde Software announced that its UEFI firmware, InsydeH2O and its robust systems management solution Supervyse now support AWS CloudHSM as an alternative to physical HSMs for BIOS and BMC firmware certificate signing.

AWS CloudHSM is a cloud-based hardware security module (HSM) that enables customers to securely generate, store, and manage cryptographic keys used for data encryption using FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated HSMs. This alternative provides customers the convenience and flexibility of a modern, managed cloud-based service that quickly scales worldwide and reduces the cost of designing, implementing and deploying traditional hardware-based HSMs, all while still meeting corporate, contractual, and regulatory compliance requirements for data security.
