emtrion introduces new core module emSTAMP-Argon
The powerful solderable emSTAMP-Argon module with the heterogeneous architecture of the STM32MP1 from STMicroelectronics enables real-time functions in power-saving operation. The integrated ARM Dual Cortex-A7 is suitable for demanding tasks, such as use in industrial IoT systems or motor control. The additional Cortex-M4 makes the emSTAMP Argon module ideal for industrial communication systems.
The heterogeneous architecture of the STM32MP1 with the dual core Cortex-A7 is suitable for demanding tasks, such as use in industrial IoT systems or motor control. The additional Cortex-M4 makes it ideal for industrial communication systems. It supports the protocols of PROFINET, EtherCAT and EtherNet /IP and more. The Cortex-M4 core uses the ecosystem of the STM32 MCU. This has the advantage that codes for STM32 Cortex-M4 systems are easily reusable.
The solder able emSTAMP Argon is optionally available with the operating system Android or Linux. As a service provider for embedded software and hardware, emtrion offers its own Board Support Packages (BSP) as well as supplementary services such as virtualization (Jailhouse) or the appropriate security solution.
emtrion guarantees a long-term availability of up to 15 years. The emSTAMP Argon core module is also available as a single board computer (emSBC Argon).
